meeting 4 RJ - Joshua

Today, we touched on the coding of the Google map itself. we initially had problems with where the markers landed. but after some trial and errors, our markers finally worked. the problem lies with the order of our coding. We moved on to creating the database. it works! where the co-ordiantes of the amrkers are of what is in the database!

Shirley's RJ for 12/12

Today we went woodlands library to borrow more books and read up more on the individual part we are doing. I borrowed another book which i think is easier for me in understanding more for XML. For what i have know about XML is it's a general markup language. XML tags and attributes fits data very closely, make document easier to understand. Its excellent for storing and sharing of data.
There's more reading to be done . ROAR !!!! =)

Today just like the previous 2 weeks, we were still in exploration stage. Except that we got a little deeper into how GoogleMAP API actually works.

We went down to Civic Plaza to borrow a book on GoogleMAP APi hacks, with regards to hacks. Many of the features or 'addons' that we can use on GoogleMAP API actually exist online.

So if we can actually locate the source of these respective 'addons' , we can turn out online application to become a feature rich one.

But however, there is still many unknowns at this point about how we can actually have the entire thing work properly.

More links to posted at this page to update everyone about the sites I've surf for today.

Continatuon of Use-Case Specification

Summary of things done since no proper record is done on the day itself....

- As we didn't have the paper version of the use-case specifcaiton, basically we redid the etnire use-case specifcation and the work was saved in the form of microsoft word.
- Exploration of ideas for functions were based on sites that are featured on http://code.google.com/apis/maps/

PS : Can someone upload the use-case specifcation word document to SIT web server and post the URL below for sharing? Thanks

Link : Reserved for HTTP link of the use-case specifcation.
